Sometimes I believe I’m an old soul. I should have been born in times long past. I returned to drawing after almost forty years away. Having moved to Ireland from the US I’ve found I have a calling for sketching historic landmarks such as castles, abbeys etc. I love studying the works of the old masters, particularly W.H. Barrett who illustrated “The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland” by Joseph Stirling Coyne.
